Transdisciplinary Theme: Where We Are In Place & Time

Central Idea: Innovation allows civilizations to grow and develop.

For our last day before winter break, we spent some time learning how to stick weave. Weaving is one of many specialized trades that has been important in civilizations throughout history. This form of stick weaving was developed and used by the Vikings during the Iron Age. Students learned to make a scarf using their favorite colored yarn.
