Before visiting the Cleveland Art Museum, sixth grade had the opportunity to explore the many different cultural offering at West Side Market.  One of the highlights was the primitive and seemingly obscure technology present (see the photo of the payphone below).  While at the art museum, students had an opportunity to see examples of both art from early civilizations, connecting to our previous unit on ancient civilizations, and various examples of religious art, connecting to our current unit on world religions and government.
