We are currently reading Among The Hidden, by Margaret Peterson Haddix. Students practice expressing their understanding of the story in different ways. So far we have used illuminated sentences, comic strips, emoji-notes, and journal entries.

Students are also working on their own personal book projects. Students will complete one personal book project and present their project at the end of each trimester. SunChyna has been reading during lunch, recess, and at home; she has already finished the first book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan. Way to go SunChyna!
