Students have been reading small group books in class during literature circles. One group just finished reading Tuck Everlasting, written by Natalie Babbitt, while the other group of students read Stargirl, written by Jerry Spinelli. Each group celebrated their book by completing and presenting an end of the book project. The group that read Stargirl created handmade cards, mimicking those written by the main character of the book, each representing different events that happened throughout the story. The students who read Tuck Everlasting created visual representations of the exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution, which they presented to the class.
